01Who we are
Ruckr is the rugby club software service operated as Ruckr Rugby (“Ruckr”, “we”, “us”). Contact [email protected] about the service, these documents or Ruckr’s handling of personal information. Your club is a separate organisation; its name and contact details should appear in its own policies.
02Respect and safe participation
Do not use Ruckr to harass, threaten, discriminate, exploit, impersonate or target another person. Do not post unlawful sexual material, grooming content, instructions to evade safeguarding controls or private information intended to expose someone to harm. Clubs must set and enforce their own standards consistently with applicable law and governing-body rules.
03Keep the audience appropriate
Check whether a group, page, exchange resource, gallery or link is private, club-visible or public. Do not copy medical, welfare, private family or financial information into an ordinary thread. Do not identify a child in public content contrary to the applicable safeguards and permissions.
Respect another person’s choice about photos, video and contact. Do not bypass a declined permission by exporting the file or posting through a separate social account. Public posts can be copied by others; consider whether publication is necessary before it happens.
04Copyright and coaching resources
Only upload material you created, are licensed to share or can otherwise lawfully use. Keep required attribution and licence conditions with coaching resources. Publishing to an exchange allows the uses described by that exchange’s sharing controls; it is not an automatic transfer of ownership or permission to sell somebody else’s work.
Coaches remain responsible for checking that a drill or generated diagram is suitable for the participants, space, contact level and safety rules. A shared resource is not a certification of safety or professional advice.
05No misuse of access or contacts
Do not scrape private records, harvest club contacts, send unsolicited promotions, attempt unauthorised access or disrupt the service. Use roles and export tools only for their authorised purpose. Marketplace or event contacts must not become an unrelated mailing list.
06Reporting and moderation
Use the relevant in-app reporting route or contact the club for its groups and content. Contact Ruckr about platform misuse or an issue the club cannot safely handle. Include enough detail to locate the issue, avoiding unnecessary copies of sensitive material. For immediate danger, use the emergency and safeguarding routes.
Clubs moderate their own spaces. Ruckr may investigate platform misuse, restrict content or access, preserve necessary evidence and cooperate with lawful authorities. Action should be proportionate; users can contact Ruckr to challenge a mistake. We do not promise that every message is monitored or that every report receives an immediate response.
07Changes and the version you are shown
Each document shows its version date and review status. Material changes must be explained to the people affected before the new processing begins, with any further notice required by law. A public page is the current explanation; an acceptance record must identify the exact document or notice shown at the time.
Reading a privacy notice acknowledges information; it is not blanket consent. Where a club relies on consent for a changed purpose, recipient or activity, it must obtain a fresh, specific choice before that new use. Silence, continued membership and an earlier yes do not authorise an expanded consent-based purpose. Necessary processing based on a different lawful basis must be assessed and explained separately.
